Top 5 Card Battler Apps Performance in New Zealand Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the card battler genre in New Zealand saw varied performance across the top five applications on a unified platform, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

Pokémon TCG Pocket from The Pokemon Company showed a notable decrease in weekly revenue, starting at about $98.7K and declining to $30.2K by the end of December. Downloads also decreased from 18.6K to around 3.9K. However, weekly active users grew significantly, peaking at over 105K in November.

For Pokémon TCG Live, weekly downloads started at 1.6K, gradually dropping to 370. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 4K to about 2.8K by the end of the quarter.

MARVEL SNAP experienced a decrease in revenue, starting at $6.7K and dropping to around $2K. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around 200. Active users decreased slightly from 1.8K to 1.5K.

Magic: The Gathering Arena by Wizards of the Coast had a steady revenue, peaking at $1.8K mid-quarter. Downloads decreased from 298 to 167, while active users remained consistent around 1.5K.

Finally, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel showed stable performance with revenue staying around $600-$800. Downloads were consistent, starting at 188 and ending at 199. Active users saw a slight increase, closing the quarter at 2.1K.
